“Let Them Choose” — Sharing the Joy of Festive Dressing”

The BCC&I CSR Committee is pleased to share an opportunity for our corporate community to support the festive campaign by Towards Future, dedicated to bringing the joy of new festive clothes to families from brick-kiln and marginalised communities.

For many of us, choosing a new outfit for Durga Puja, Diwali or Chhath is a simple part of the festive excitement. For families living and working in brick-kiln communities, it is a moment they rarely get to experience. A new set of clothes represents dignity, inclusion and the joy of celebrating like everyone else.

This year, Towards Future wants to go a step further: not simply giving clothes, but giving people the opportunity to choose what they would love to wear.

🎯 Our Reach This Year

The campaign aims to reach 1,500 children, women and men from brick-kiln and marginalised communities in Rajarhat and Bhangar.

  • 👧 600 children – festive dress
  • đź‘© 450 women – saree
  • 👨 450 men – festive clothing

Distribution will take place in three phases: before Durga Puja, Diwali and Chhath Puja.

đź’› What Your Support Can Do

  • ₹500 can bring the joy of choice to one child
  • ₹300 can help one woman or man choose their festive attire

The campaign goal is â‚ą5.70 lakh.

🤝 An Opportunity to Share the Joy

BCC&I invites its corporate members and partners to consider supporting this initiative through:

  • Sponsorship of festive clothing for children, women and men
  • Employee engagement / contribution drives
  • Corporate contributions or CSR support
  • Brand or institutional partnerships
  • Supporting distribution across the identified communities

More corporate partners → More families reached → More joy shared.

Because a new dress is not just a piece of clothing. It can mean excitement in a child’s eyes, a woman choosing something she truly likes, a father feeling included in the celebration, and a family celebrating with dignity.

We believe that through collective corporate participation, the Chamber can help take this initiative to a wider community and make the festive season more inclusive and meaningful.

Let us come together to ensure that the joy of celebration reaches every home. Let them choose. Let them celebrate. Let us celebrate together.
