In the wake of the pandemic, tragedy struck as we lost Smt Anu Chowdhury, a virtuous homemaker, at the age of 80, due to COVID. Her son, Prof. Ujjwal Anu Chowdhury, along with those dedicated to the school, decided to pay homage to her legacy. Inspired by her maiden visit to the then-closed and dilapidated school in November 2020, they formed the Smt. Anu Chowdhury Memorial Educational Foundation.
On the first anniversary of her passing, November 25, 2021, the Foundation was tenderly launched at the school premises. Families of learners and mentors alike warmly welcomed this nostalgic initiative, heralding a new chapter in the school's history. With the gracious support of the more fortunate, the Foundation stands as a tribute to a mother's love and a commitment to providing quality education to the underprivileged.
