Transform Schools works to improve learning outcomes for secondary-school students across India through system-wide partnerships with State governments. To date, we have impacted a cumulative total of 10.6M students, 181K Teachers and 83K Schools and Head Teachers across eight states. By designing, piloting, and scaling innovations in partnership with state governments, we aim to create measurable and sustainable impact.

Transform Schools is committed to improving transition rates from primary to secondary school, reducing learning poverty, and ensuring more adolescents stay in school and complete their education—especially girls, Dalits, Tribals, and children in aspirational districts. By 2030, we aim to enhance life skills, agency, and well-being for 30 million students, reaching 25% of students in government middle and secondary schools across India.
