By  Infinity Group 21 May, 2026

The transition from student life to the corporate world is often blocked by a frustrating paradox: “You need experience to get a job, but you need a job to get experience first.” In West Bengal’s competitive job market, this hurdle can feel insurmountable for fresh graduates—especially young women striving for financial independence. They possess the degrees, the merit, and a fierce hunger to succeed, yet they find their potential locked behind a door they aren't given the key to turn.

While many organisations view corporate social responsibility (CSR) as a checkbox or a financial donation, Infinity Group is taking a different approach. As a proud BCF-registered corporate, Infinity Group believes in Dayitva—a deep-seated duty to give back to the community by extending its corporate expertise, resources, and time.

As the undisputed pioneer and top voice in the office spaces real estate market across Salt Lake Sector V—the absolute nerve centre of West Bengal’s commercial world—Infinity Group intimately understands what it takes to survive and thrive in a high-octane professional environment. But true industry leadership is not just about shaping the physical skylines of corporate hubs; it is about empowering the human potential that will occupy them.

This is why the employees of Infinity Group choose to step out from their deeply occupied schedules. This is not a passive corporate mandate; it is a conscious, deliberate choice by corporate leaders to step away from their deadlines and gift their most precious resource—their time—to the next generation. They enter the training room with a singular focus—to guide these young job-seekers and help them break the shackles of systemic exclusion, self-doubt, and the crippling fresher's paradox that have held them back for too long.

The Silent Fractures of the Fresh Graduate Market Identified by Infinity Group

The realities faced by many young graduates in West Bengal reveal a system marked by structural challenges, silent struggles, and a significant “visibility gap” that disconnects deserving talent from meaningful opportunities. This lack of visibility often leads to serious real-world consequences, including the following:

  • The Cycle of Over-Education: Lacking corporate exposure and direction, many young women fall into a loop of pursuing degree after degree. They pile up academic credentials not out of a clear career strategy, but because the workforce offers them no alternative starting line.
  • The Exploitation Risk: In the absence of direct, transparent access to authentic corporate environments, desperate job seekers often fall prey to predatory recruitment agencies—fraudulent setups that extort hard-earned money from vulnerable families in exchange for empty promises.
  • The Corporate Myth: For a student from an underprivileged background, the corporate boardroom can feel like an alien world. Basic structural concepts—such as how different corporate departments function or how specialised roles like Procurement operate—remain entirely hidden, creating a profound psychological barrier to entry.

Infinity Group realised that structural displacement cannot be solved by simply standing on the sidelines. True change requires building a physical, practical bridge across the gap.

On one side, incredible homegrown companies across the region are actively searching for dedicated local talent. On the other side, brilliant, fresh graduates are searching for a career footprint. Yet they remain invisible to each other.

Realising that this structural displacement could not be solved by simply standing on the sidelines, Infinity Group determined that true change required moving past passive observation and building a physical, practical bridge across this gap.

Thus, Infinity under its banner came up with an initiative – 'Infinity Dayitva' – that will serve as a reliable bridge across this gap. The goal is to demystify the corporate sector, eliminate market myths, and show young women exactly where professional opportunities lie. Under Infinity Dayitva’s Career and Mentorship Program (CAMP), in collaboration with the Udayan Care Kolkata Chapter, the organisation is directly addressing the corporate exposure gap by transforming ambitious young women (Udayan Shalinis) into the corporate leaders of tomorrow.

The Vision Behind Infinity Dayitva: Why Infinity and Udayan Care Align

For years, Infinity Group has maintained a deep, unwavering relationship with Udayan Care. This bond is not a casual corporate alignment or a fleeting partnership born out of convenience; it is a profound intersection of shared values, mutual trust, and a collective vision.

Within Kolkata’s social impact ecosystem, Udayan Care stands as an undisputed beacon of credibility and dedicated service. It is widely recognised as one of the most respected and impactful non-governmental organisations working tirelessly to dismantle systemic poverty by focusing on its root cause: the marginalisation of young women.

A visionary corporate house like Infinity Group looked for an organisation that mirrored its own high standards of execution and ethical responsibility. They found that exact match in Udayan Care.

Udayan Care provides the foundational empowerment, character building, and academic scaffolding. Infinity Group then steps in to provide the high-altitude corporate exposure, tactical business skill sets, and direct employment pathways. Together, they ensure that the journey of an underprivileged girl does not just end with a university degree but culminates in a thriving, independent corporate career.

Busy Professionals Stepping Up as Mentors

The first batch commenced on 31st January and concluded on 21 March. The programme curriculum was structured as a four-day intensive training and grooming session, during which participants physically attended the sessions at the Infinity Think Tank Head Office in Salt Lake Sector V. They were assigned continuous tasks and guided through regular mentor feedback and corrections. Through this hands-on learning experience, Infinity mentors supported the Shalinis with a curriculum focused on practical skills and real-world career readiness.

The 4-Day CAMP Blueprint: The Core Pillars of CAMP Curriculum

To move beyond generic corporate workshops, Infinity Group structured CAMP 2026 into a clear, chronological journey. Each day was designed to dismantle a specific professional barrier, moving the Shalinis from baseline self-awareness to complete ownership of their professional narratives.

Day 1: Understanding Professional Identity & Corporate Mapping
The programme commenced with a focus on self-awareness, professional presentation, and understanding corporate ecosystems. Through introductions and interactive ice-breaking sessions, the Shalinis were oriented towards organisational structures and workplace functions. Participants learned how departments such as Human Resources, Sales, Marketing, and Finance interconnect to run a commercial enterprise efficiently.

The day also included intensive sessions on grooming, personal hygiene, body language, office etiquette, and workplace discipline—helping participants understand the importance of professional self-presentation.

The Strategic Takeaway: Day 1 established a foundational corporate truth—the opportunities of tomorrow are shaped by the habits, confidence, and mindset cultivated today. The Shalinis realised that professional growth extends far beyond academic qualifications.

Day 2: Turning Confidence into Action through Communication
The second day focused on transforming confidence into practical communication and employability skills. The participants underwent hands-on training in formal written and verbal communication, including professional email writing, corporate WhatsApp etiquette, workplace conversations, and interview communication.

A dedicated resume-building workshop introduced the mandates, formats, and essential “Do’s and Don’ts” of crafting a competitive CV. Through role-plays, mock communication scenarios, and real-time mentor feedback, the Shalinis were encouraged to step outside their comfort zones and develop strong first impressions.

The Strategic Takeaway: By practising real-world communication scenarios, the participants transitioned from merely understanding soft skills to actively applying them with confidence and clarity.

Day 3: Owning Narratives & Emerging Niche Markets
The third day introduced the Shalinis to modern business paradigms and specialised industries often overlooked within traditional academic frameworks. The participants experienced an immersive visit to the Infinity Green Building, where they explored sustainable infrastructure, green corporate benchmarks, and the concept of future-ready workplaces.

The sessions further expanded into the basics of Social Media Marketing (SMM), helping participants understand how platforms like LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook can evolve from personal networking spaces into professional branding, marketing, and job-seeking tools.

The day concluded with an analytical breakdown of a real Interview Assessment Sheet, allowing the Shalinis to understand corporate evaluation processes, tackle difficult cross-questions, and navigate interview panels more strategically.

The Strategic Takeaway: By understanding actual corporate expectations and evaluation systems, the Shalinis began viewing themselves not as passive applicants but as capable young professionals prepared to shape their own career journeys.

Day 4: The Chain of Empowerment & Graduation
The final day of CAMP 2026 served as a celebratory bridge between inspiration and aspiration. In a powerful peer-to-peer exchange, senior Shalinis currently integrated across various corporate departments within Infinity Group shared their personal career journeys, workplace experiences, and professional learnings.

The programme concluded with a formal closing address by the corporate mentors, followed by a certificate distribution ceremony and graduation group photograph—marking the successful completion of Batch 1 and celebrating the emergence of confident young women ready to step into tomorrow’s professional world.

Shalini's Feedback After the final session:

"Whatever our mentors have covered so far will help us make a drastic change in ourselves, distinguishing us from other candidates in any professional field."

This feedback from an Udayan Shalini highlights the deep psychological transformation occurring within the training room. For a young graduate entering a crowded job market, the greatest obstacle is often the fear of anonymity—the anxiety of being just another resume in a stack of thousands. By stating that the mentorship will help them make a "drastic change" in themselves, she acknowledges that this programme goes far beyond standard skill acquisition. It has fundamentally altered her self-perception, turning self-doubt into professional confidence and replacing uncertainty with a clear sense of identity.

The true value of this transformation lies in the ability to stand out. When these young women learn to articulate their thoughts clearly, command a room with strong body language, and showcase practical knowledge of corporate structures, they gain a distinct competitive edge. They are no longer competing strictly on academic scores; they are competing on corporate readiness. This specific feedback proves that the time and experience invested by Infinity Group employees have given these freshers the precise tools they need to separate themselves from the crowd and confidently establish their value in any professional field.

Real-World Socio-Economic Impact

Evolving the Grassroots Narrative

We are all deeply familiar with the moving stories of grassroots volunteers who travel to under-resourced communities to teach, feed, and groom underprivileged children. It is a vital, noble mission that builds the foundation of our society. The Infinity Dayitva story is moulded from that same spirit of deep empathy and social responsibility, but it has evolved to meet a different, critical objective for a new stage of life.

Instead of teaching basic literacy, corporate mentors of Infinity Group are imparting professional literacy. They are taking the traditional model of grassroots social work and shifting it into the boardroom. By teaching these young women how to command a room, structure a corporate email, optimise their digital presence, and navigate complex organisational hierarchies, Infinity Group employees are equipping them with the practical armour required to stand tall as equals in the modern workforce.

The Chain of Empowerment Redefining CSR: Why Money Alone is Not Enough

Dayitva recognises that the most valuable asset a successful corporate entity possesses is not its bank balance but its intellectual equity. The true antidote to the fresher's paradox is the deliberate, hands-on transfer of real-world experience, corporate wisdom, and practical knowledge.

Writing a cheque is simple; it demands personal investment. What is truly scarce—and what fresh graduates need most—is time, attention, and human connection. True empowerment occurs when established corporate professionals step out of their demanding schedules, walk into the training room, and sit down across from the next generation.

By sharing operational insights, reviewing resumes on the big screen, exposing candidates to structural corporate dynamics, and guiding them through real-world interview simulations, Infinity Group transfers something money can never buy: unfiltered corporate capability.

Through Infinity Dayitva, the message is clear: education gives young women the wings to fly, but deliberate corporate mentorship provides the map to navigate the professional landscape. By investing time, sharing expertise, and opening doors for fresh talent, Infinity Group continues to go beyond the Infinite Possibilities.
