The festival of Rakshabandhan (rakhi) is a celebration of the relationship between brothers and sisters. 

This festival  was celebrated in true spirit & fervour on 9th August, 2025 by the children of The Biswas Educational Foundation. The sisters tied Rakhi to their brothers, while reciting the sacred mantra, signifying the bond of protection, love & well being amongst siblings. 

Our children, though they come from different families, stay together as One Family. Celebrating the rakhi festival not only initiates them to the rich culture & tradition of our society but also imbibes in them the feelings of love, care, protection (raksha) and respect for their siblings. These occasions go a long way in shaping their attitude, emotions, fellow feeling and attachment towards their brothers and sisters as they grow up to be worthy citizens of our country.
